For those traveling to Peru, vaccines generally recommended are: yellow fever, tetanus, hepatitis A and B, rabies, and prophylaxis for malaria.

For malaria, you should assume only in the event that you want to visit the Amazon forest, starting about 10 days before, and ending 10 days after left from this area.
In the city of Iquitos, there is not malaria, while there is dengue, which is almost absent in the forest: it is possible to prevent dengue sleeping with mosquito nets in the city, and little more. In case you are affected by dengue the only cure is complete rest and taking paracetamol, until the extinction of the fever.
